Coding for Kids

August 6 & 20 
3:00 – 4:00 pm

 

Learn how to code from Mr. Cheek, the media specialist at the Johnson Creek School District! You will learn the basics of coding and get to practice on Dash and Dot robots. 

Yoga for Kids

For ages 6 through 12. Certified yoga instructor Nancy Bauer leads children through a fun program while learning the basics of yoga. No previous experience needed. Equipment is provided. 

 

Approximately 45 minutes long. Parents do not need to stay.

 

Reader's Theater

For ages 8 through 14. Hillary Hataj, elementary school music teacher, will lead two weeks of fun theater experiences!
Improv Week:  June 25 – 28 from 1:00-2:00 at the library

Play Practice: July 9 – 12 from 1:00-3:00 at the library

Performance: July 13 at 1:00-1:30 at the Johnson Creek Community Center

 
 

Lego Club

For ages 6 through 12. Build your solution to a new challenge each month! 

 

Approximately 1 hour long. Parents do not need to stay.

Early Literacy Storytime

For ages 3 through 5. Join us for stories, rhymes, and activities that help your child develop a strong foundation for reading success!

 

Approximately 30 minutes long. Parents need to stay in attendance.

Toddler Storytime

For ages 0 through 2.  Join us for songs, rhymes, stories, and activities to engage your curious and active toddler!

 

Approximately 30 minutes long. Parents need to stay in attendance.
