Interact with our licensed therapy dogs. All ages welcome!

Drop in for a few friendly rounds of BINGO. For ages 0 to 100.

After Hours Double Feature (July 12 @ 5:00—7:00)
Date night for parents and entertainment for kids! Adults enjoy a movie and appetizers while the kids enjoy a separate movie and a snack.
Adult movie: Spaceballs (rated PG, 1hr 36min)
Kids movie: WALL-E (rated G, 1h 38min)

Fossil and Rock Exploration (June 15 @ 10:00—noon)
Pre-registration required to get free fossil bag. Sponsored by the Rock River Geological Society and Steven’s Rocks and Gifts. Ages 6 to 18.

Mad Science (June 12 @ 2:00—3:00)
Reach for the Moon and probe the wonders of space as Mad Science takes children on a voyage of discovery.

Little Miss Ann (June 26 @ 2:00—3:00)
Bring your family to this interactive music concert with Little Miss Ann!

Snake Discovery (July 17 @ 2:00—3:00)
Slither into the world of reptiles by meeting, touching, and learning about several species that call Wisconsin home!

Child Health & Safety Fair (August 1 @ 4:30—7:00)
Meet police officers and firefighters, see Flight for Life, enter to win raffle prizes, and more! Held at the Johnson Creek Community Center.  

Children’s Programs

Storytime in the Park (Tuesdays in June & July @ 10:30—11:00)
Join us at the gazebo in Veteran’s Memorial Park—right next to the library!—for stories, rhymes, songs, and activities. Ages 0 to 8.

Reader’s Theater (June 17—20 1:00-3:00, finale June 21 1:00—2:00)
Improv and playacting classes will prepare you to put on a short play at the end of the week. Must attend at least two sessions to be in the play. Lead by Hillary Hataj. Ages 7 to 14.

Lego Club (second Monday of each month @ 3:30—4:30)
Build a solution to a new LEGO challenge each month! Ages 6 to 12.

Kids Book Club (June 28 & July 26 @ 2:00—3:00)
Share your favorite book and enjoy a snack. Ages 7 to 12.
June 28: Read any age-appropriate book about space
July 26: Read any age-appropriate book about Star Wars

Teen Programs

Teen Book Tasting  (June 21 & July 19 @ 2:00—3:00)
Create a snack while you find your next favorite book! Ages 12 to 18.

Teen DIY (third Thursday June—August @ 5:30—6:30)
Get hands-on creating useful upcycled items. Ages 12 to 18.

Nailed It! (July 15 @ 4:00—5:00)
Recreate beautiful desserts like on the Netflix show Nailed It! then vote for your favorite to be crowned winner! Ages 12 to 18.

Adult Programs

Busy Fingers Crafting & Coloring (2nd Wednesdays @ 1:00– 2:00)
Bring your own project and socialize or just relax and color!

A Novel Bunch Book Discussion (3rd Thursdays @ 3:00—4:00)
Discuss a different book each month. The library always has extra copies, so check one out and join today! Reading list is on the adult programming page.
