Family Entertainment

Hands-On Science (June 7 & 21, July 12 & 26 from @ 5:30—6:30)
Get messy while we explore science! Learn how to make slime, create bubbles, and more!

Wii Bowling Night (June 25 @ 4:30—6:00)
Bowl against friends on the Wii! Pizza and root beer will be provided, so hang around for several games.

Child Health & Safety Fair (August 2 @ 4:30—7:00)
Held at the Johnson Creek Community Center, this annual event celebrates health and safety! Meet police officers and firefighters, see Flight for Life, enjoy an affordable hot dog dinner, and more!

Children’s Programs

Storytime in the Park (Tuesdays @ 10:30—11:00)
Join us at the gazebo in Veteran’s Memorial Park—right next to the library!—for stories, rhymes, songs, and activities.
For ages 0 to 5.

Kids’ Movie (Wednesdays @ 2:00—3:30)
Enjoy a different kid-friendly movie every week! Bring your own pillow or blanket and we’ll provide the snacks.
For ages 5 to 12.

Lego Club (third Monday of each month @ 3:30—4:30)
Learn problem solving skills while you solve a different challenge each month!
For ages 6 to 12.


Reader’s Theater: Directed by Hillary Hataj
Improv Week:  June 25 – 28 from 1:00-2:00 at the library
Play Practice: July 9 – 12 from 1:00-3:00 at the library
Performance: July 13 at 1:00-1:30 at the Johnson Creek Community Center
For ages 8 to 14.

Teen Programs

Teen DIY (June 14 & 28, July 10 @ from 5:30—6:30)
Get hands-on creating upcycled items while learning techniques like using string and fire to cut glass. Ages 13 to 18.

Escape Room (July 23 @ 2:00—3:00)
Work together to solve the riddles of the creepy librarian’s office and escape in time! Ages 12 to 18. Must pre-register at the library. 

Adult Programs

Busy Fingers Crafting Club (2nd & 4th Wednesday @ 1:00– 2:00)
If you knit, crochet, scrapbook, or have any other craft you are working on, this program is for you! Bring your project and socialize with other crafters.

Adult Coloring (2nd and 4th Thursdays @ 1:00– 2:00)
Want to reduce stress? Come to the Adult Coloring Club! Bring your own materials or use ours. 

Book Discussion for Adults (3rd Thursday @ 3:00—4:00)
Discuss a different book each month including historical fiction and nonfiction. The library always has extra copies of the books, so check one out and join today!
