Curbside Pick-Up FAQs
How do I place items on hold?
You have three options, all of which require your library card:
1) Log in to the Cafe Catalog and place holds
2) Call the library between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm Monday through Friday
3) Fill out the Curbside Pick-Up Request form on our website
Is the library open? Why can’t I pick up my items whenever I want?
The library building is still closed to the public. We require a scheduled appointment for pick-up so we can ensure that we don’t have too many people at the library at one time.
What if I miss my pick-up time?
If you miss your pick-up time, call (920) 699-3741 to reschedule. All holds that have not been picked up or rescheduled after 24 hours will be cancelled. Please do not come to pick up materials without a scheduled pick-up time.
Can I order items from another library?
Yes, but it will take a while. Beginning May 4 deliveries between libraries will begin again. Due to the backlog, it will take some time to get all the items delivered and resume our normal routine. We will also be quarantining the items for 3 days after they arrive, so please be patient when waiting for an item from another library.
Can I still return library materials?
Yes! Our outside book drop is always open. You may return books, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks from any Bridges System library. However, all materials are due on June 1, so feel free to hang on to them.
What do you do with items after they are returned?
We quarantine all returned items for 3 days, the length of time the CDC says SARS-CoV-2 can exist on plastics, then we check in the items and return them to circulation. We cannot guarantee that all items will be completely virus free, but we are taking all recommended precautions to ensure our staff and customer’s safety.
