Animal Meet & Greet

Learn about safety, care, and compassion for all animals at this interactive event. Children ages 2 and up will get to meet and pet a variety of live animals and learn how to properly touch, feed, and care for them. Presented by the Humane Society of Jefferson County.

Open Mic Night

Presented by the Johnson Creek Public Library and the Johnson Creek Elementary School

All ages are welcome to attend and speak. Participants will recite short poems for the audience (either ones they wrote or their favorites from other authors), create their own poetry in a variety of activities held during the breaks in speaking, listen to live music, and enjoy a snack. All participants will get a free beret to celebrate the spirit of “open mic”!

Join us for this gentle early literacy storytime that encourages you to sing, talk, read, and play with your brilliant baby. Older siblings are welcome!

R.E.A.D With A Dog

NEW DAY and TIME! Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) are registered therapy dogs. They will be in the library for children (and adults!) to read to on a monthly basis.
