Meeting Room The library has one large meeting room available for studying, meetings or gatherings. The space has a divider to accommodate two users and is free to use for individuals and non-profit groups. Fees apply for for-profit groups. You can fill out the form at the top of this page or call the library to reserve it. If the room is not in use, you can ask at the circulation desk to use it without a reservation.

How do I…?

How do I get a library card?

You can sign up for a temporary library card online via the Cafe Catalog. Under the “My Account” tab click “Sign In/Register” and fill out the form. You will be able to place holds on items and be able to check out digital items on Overdrive. To finish the process, you must come in to the library within 7 days and bring in a valid identification (like a driver’s license) and a piece of mail that shows your current address. You will be asked to fill out a short form (or you can print one out below and bring it in already filled out) and you will get your library card – with full access to all of our digital and physical items – immediately!

Application for Johnson Creek Public Library Card

How do I renew library materials?

Visit the Cafe Catalog, select “My Account,” and click the “Log In” link. Type in your library card barcode (all the letters and numbers under the barcode) and your 4-digit PIN. Once you log in, you can see all the materials you have checked out and renew them yourself.

Having trouble? Just call us at (920) 699-3471 or use the website chat bubble and we can help you log in, reset your PIN, or just renew your books over the phone.

How do I check out or return materials from other libraries?

The Johnson Creek Public Library is part of the Bridges Library System which gives our customers access to 23 other libraries in Jefferson and Waukesha counties. Any library customer who is a member of one of these libraries can use any other library in Bridges! You can pick up or drop off library materials at any member library or order materials from any member library—for free!

How do I put library materials on hold?

Visit the Cafe Catalog, select “My Account,” and click the “Log In” link. Type in your library card barcode (all the letters and numbers under the barcode) and your 4-digit PIN. Search the thousands of materials available in the Bridges Library System, and, when you find something you want, select the “Place a Hold” button on the right and select the library you want to pick up the materials at. You will be notified in the manner you selected when registering at your library, either by phone, text, or e-mail.

How do I change my notification preferences or contact information?

Do you want to be notified of library holds by e-mail instead of phone? Do you need to update your address? Give us a call at (920) 699-3471 and we can update it!

How do I make a donation to the library?

There are two types of donations the library accepts: monetary and items.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, please bring the cash or check directly to the library or send it via secured mail to our PO box address. You may also consider contacting the Friends of the Library and donating to that organization.

If you would like to donate items, we take all gently used adult books, teen books, children’s books, and DVDs. We do not accept damaged or musty items, CDs, VHS tapes, audiotapes, or magazines. The donated items may be considered for addition to the collection, placed in the Friends of the Library’s annual book sale, or placed elsewhere upon the discretion of the director.
