Three (3) desktop public access computers and one (1) laptop public access computer are available during business hours. You need your Cafe card (from any Bridges Library System library) or your driver’s license to use the computers.

Paper copies of state and federal tax forms and booklets are put out beginning in February and are available on a first come, first served basis.

The library has one large community room available for meetings or a quiet work space. The space is free to use for non-profit groups or individuals wishing to work privately. Fees apply for for-profit groups, per library board approved policy. Library programming takes precedence, but call the library for availability.

The library has one small study room that can fit up to 5 people. Call the library to reserve it or ask at the circulation desk to use it when it isn’t reserved.

How do I...?

You can sign up for a temporary library card online via the Cafe Catalog. Under the “My Account” tab click “Sign In/Register” and fill out the form. You will be able to place holds on items and be able to check out digital items on Overdrive. To finish the process, you must come in to the library within 7 days and bring in a valid identification (like a driver’s license) and a piece of mail that shows your current address. You will be asked to fill out a short form (or you can print one out below and bring it in already filled out) and you will get your library card – with full access to all of our digital and physical items – immediately!

Application for Johnson Creek Public Library Card

Visit the Cafe Catalog, select “My Account,” and click the “Log In” link. Type in your library card barcode (the long number under the barcode) and your PIN (usually the last four digits of your phone number). Once you log in, you can see all the materials you have checked out and renew them yourself.

Having trouble? Just call us at (920) 699-3471 and we can help you log in, reset your PIN, or just renew your books over the phone.

The Johnson Creek Public Library is part of the Bridges Library System which gives our customers access to 23 other libraries in Jefferson and Waukesha counties. Any library customer who is a member of one of these libraries can use any other library in Bridges! You can pick up or drop off library materials at any member library or order materials from any member library—for free!

Visit the Cafe Catalog, select “My Account,” and click the “Log In” link. Type in your library card barcode (the long number under the barcode) and your PIN (usually the last four digits of your phone number). Search the thousands of materials available in the Bridges Library System, and, when you find something you want, select the “Place a Hold” button on the right and select the library you want to pick up the materials at. You will be notified in the manner you selected when registering at your library, either by phone, text, or e-mail.

Do you want to be notified of library holds by e-mail instead of phone? Do you need to update your address? Give us a call at (920) 699-3471 and we can update it!

There are two types of donations the library accepts: monetary and items.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, please bring the cash or check directly to the library or send it via secured mail to our PO box address. You may also consider contacting the Friends of the Library and donating to that organization.

If you would like to donate items, we take all gently used adult books, teen books, children’s books, and DVDs. We do not accept damaged or musty items. The donated items may be considered for addition to the collection, placed in the Friends of the Library’s annual book sale, or placed elsewhere upon the discretion of the director.
